placenta medicine

The Tree of Life:

In the fertile soil (womb)

grows a tree (placenta),

which through the sap (food)

that runs through its trunk (umbilical cord).

Placenta medicine replenish vital nutrients lost during childbirth and support postpartum recovery.

The placenta is rich in nutrients such as iron, protein, and hormones and promotes healing, boost energy levels, and reduce the risk of postpartum depression.

"In Europe until the 18th century, the placenta was considered the other half of the newborn, it was believed that everything that was done with the placenta was felt by the newborn, that is why midwives gave the placenta to the father so as not to run any risk.

Much midwifery knowledge was lost in the Middle Ages with the persecution of women, among them the knowledge related to the placenta.

Despite this, there were people who still remembered the tree of life that sustains all of creation, that sustains us."
